Reservation Road marks the northern access to the Catawba Nation. It is reached by driving down Neely Store Road and making a right hand turn at the intersection of Neely and Reservation Road. From Reservation Road one may enter the Nation from the north or the south sides through Indian Trail.
The Catawba Cultural Preservation Project (CCPP) was formed in 1990 as a non-profit organization sanctioned by the Catawba Indian Nation. The mission statement of CCPP charges the organization with the “preservation, promotion, and protection of the rich cultural heritage of the Catawba Indian Nation”. CCPP has grown over the last 14 years from a fledging organization with two staff members to a well-established entity in the South Carolina preservation community.
We are pleased to announce that Yap Ye Iswa will once again return to the University of South Carolina Lancaster Campus.

You now have the chance to spend the night in one of the Carolina's most legendary locations. The building where CCPP resides has long been the center of many ghostly tales. We have decided to offer a limited opportunity to small group of brave investigators. This is not a theatrical haunted house like the others. This is the chance to spend the evening investigating the claims of many visitors, volunteers and employees of CCPP. We provide the place, and the equipment to investigate the legends and ghost stories. All you need to bring is the courage to stay the night.
Please be aware this is a very limited oportunity, only 30 places avaliable. So book soon and save your place.
